The Gospel of John was written to persuade people to believe in Jesus. No book in the Bible has a more sustained focus on the glory of Jesus Christ than this Gospel -- "The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father."
In the weeks leading up to Easter Sunday, we will explore the life of Christ as told by one of his closest friends. John himself says of this book, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
