In case you’ve never heard of CIY: Move before, let me give you a quick overview. It’s a 5-day event produced by Christ In Youth, an incredible organization. This year, our students are heading to Hope College, where they will worship alongside thousands of other students their age. It’s literally an experience they’ll get nowhere else. It’s also one of the safest and most well-organized events for students in the country!
This year at CIY: Move, the focus will be on Kingdom Workers who are called to stand out; to be different and make a difference. There is a stark contrast between a life lived for the King and one lived for anyone or anything else. What are those differences? How should our lives be distinct? Find out at Move, when we search all through John's first letter.
Move also offers small group times in which your student can connect with adult leaders and other students. This is one of the most important things we can do as a youth ministry. Next to your influence as a parent, building those bonds between our leaders and their peers is the No. 1 thing that will help your student grow in their relationship with Christ!
