Serving Hope Saturday

Join us on November 9 from 9 a.m. to noon for Serve Saturday. Sign up on the sheets in the gym or call the office at (260) 627-3653 to choose your area of service. There is something for everyone. Families can serve together.

Sponsor and Pack College Boxes– Send college kids an uplifting surprise before finals to let them know they are loved.

Visits– visit shut-ins, take communion packs, and a treat. Talk and pray with them. (only adults please, often rooms don’t accommodate more than a few people)

Workday at Lake James Christian Camp in Angola– THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE FROM 8:00 A.M.- 1:30 P.M. AND INCLUDES LUNCH. Projects and leaf removal.

Parking Lot Prayer– Start at church and pray over the people who will enter the building, visitors, people who pass by and see the building, Childcare children and families, and teachers. You can stay in your car or get out and walk the grounds. Then move to another place close, like the park or Cedarville Elementary. Pray for every aspect of that place. Move farther away in our (260). There is power in prayer. This can be individual or in groups. 

Outdoor Work (Local)- Working outside raking leaves or doing whatever needs to be done for those who need help. 

Notes of Encouragement- Writing notes or cards to encourage those going through a difficult time, or who might need some kind words.
